Welcome back from the weekend!  This week is pretty straight forward - we will be finishing government and then starting into our mining unit.  We will be learning what mining is, why we have it, and how it affects us here in Utah.

Here are the notes for government in case you missed them.

This week we will be dipping into the government of the United States.  This will coincide with Statehood unit.  We will be learning the basics of the 3 branches, how to make a bill become law, and bring the information together with a governmental game.
